YOU’RE COVERED

Who is Jesus? Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. Jesus loves you so much, that he died for you. You’ll never have to be perfect to feel as though you have to be. Your gifts were given to you without repentance. We were born into sin. Jesus is not RELIGION! Jesus is love. He waits for you to spend time with him and give him what he deserves. We owe him thanks and praise. Sometimes we choose to delight in earthly desires. Whether you spend time with him everyday or not, he still is so dedicated to you that he pays attention to everything that goes on in your day to day. Just think about it! You don’t even know how many times Jesus has saved you! He’s kept you in your everyday life. As you get in your car to go to work - HE’S COVERING YOU! As you go on your job - HE’S COVERING YOU! When the doctor report came back negative - HE COVERED YOU! When everyone wanted to give up on you - HE COVERED YOU! When you were in the world of sin - HE COVERED YOU! When everyone else didn’t make it in the family, yet you’ve been able to maintain - HE COVERED YOU! When you didn’t know where your next meal would come from, yet somehow you came across a little something - HE COVERED YOU! When you don’t know how you’re still here everyday - HE COVERED YOU! Jesus covers you, your kids, your parents, and anyone else that you call family. Know that there will be tests! Yet, your tests come to make you strong. Jesus overcame the world for us. To be apart of #TEAMJESUS  you’ve got to ride for him like he rides for us! Whether that means staying on that job that you hate so much because of the people there, being humble rather than prideful, managing your finances, taking care of your temple by working out, spending time with him uninterrupted, praying daily, or even just saying THANK YOU LORD! Trust and believe that you’ve got this! #makejesusyourbestfriend

New Territory

So many people who see my story posts or have been touched by my first blog post have reached out to me. Let’s recap where I’ve been. At the start of the 2018 year, God had been dealing with me in so many ways it wasn’t even funny. Then out of the blue, someone drops into my life that I never expected to be there. I got into a relationship when I wasn’t WHOLE yet. So with that being said, I made mistakes along the way which led to a huge train wreck. I allowed past “situationships to hold a place in my heart.” Those old situationships allowed so much distruction to happen, that it totally put me into a place where I became bitter and angry with so many people. Even when I let something good get torn to pieces, it was as if it needed to happen in order for me to regain my focus. God is showing me that he has to break me all the way down in order to build me into the woman of God that I am becoming. I was offered a position in a whole new city where I know NO ONE. This is a time for me to focus on myself and God. I’ve learned so much more about myself that I ever knew. I’m using my gifts that he has given me, and I don’t regret it one bit. In order for God to use you, you’ve got to go through something and I can truly say that this year was a BREAK DOWN for a BUILD UP. I thank God for using me in my everyday life to be a light for others. If you would’ve asked me in early 2018 did I believe in true friendships with longevity, I would’ve said HECK NO! Now, I can truly say that at this age, for the first time in life God sent me a circle of women who are wise and are filled with the love of Jesus Christ. The first woman that I met is much like an older sister to me. The first day I met her, she was filled with the love of Jesus I could just tell. We talked about normal things that we were doing this summer and then the conversation went from that to biblical things. She told me that everything that I dream about or write about isn’t a coincidence. I was like “OMG-how does she know?” in my head. At that moment I knew that God sent her. I had been praying that God would send me some God fearing people into my life to help me grow. I always felt like everyone was out to hurt you, or at least they would show their true colors in due time so I never let my guard down with anyone. Even if you felt like I let my guard down, I’m pretty sure I played games with you to see what you would do with whatever conversation I’d give you. Now, my mindset is so different. If I hurt you in the past, I apologize. There are Godly people in the world that are assigned to you and they will love on you like Christ. I found an amazing church home and I love it! There are so many “firsts” happening right now I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve never really had my own church home. You know you usually go where your parents go and so forth, but to have an actual connection to a church that you feel is mind blowing. Having a relationship with Jesus is about YOU+HIM! It has nothing to do with anyone else. I’m a long way from the person that I used to be and that’s only because of the BLOOD. I’m in the state where I’m only focused on the WORK BEING DONE! If God didn’t tell me you’re apart of the process, then I guess I’ll see ya next lifetime! The only way from here is up. :)

Father God I thank you for allowing me to have the ability to be transparent and open with my readers. I thank you for every young woman or male that will feel as though they are at their breaking point, but by reading this message they feel a little closer to you. God I thank you for restoration and renewing of the mind. This year is not over and we will continue to see miracles and a shift in different areas of our lives. Father I come against any battle with suicide, depression, and even anxiety. It is because of you that we are here and we can overcome any battle that is not of you. Lord,  place a hedge of protection over any young woman or man that is not secure of themselves or even have feelings of being lost in life. I ask that you cover them in your blood and allow your Holy Spirit to comfort them at all times. God, I ask that you break any soul ties that are hindering any of your children from being the best version of themselves to be broken. I ask that you pour out your blessings and continue to show your light and love upon all who read this prayer.

JUST DO IT IN 2018!

Well, here it is. It's 4:42 Eastern time and I am releasing my first blog post on my birthday. Today is very special beyond the normal "birthday" for me. I've always had a passion and love for writing but I stopped writing in high school. When you pray for something, you've got to be ready for the response from God. I've always known that I was born to be a leader and to never be AVERAGE. To be great one must overcome the word FEAR. Fear of vulnerability, failure, growth, and the unknown paths that self-discovery will take you. This blog will follow my growth through this FEARLESS way of life that God will help me walk through. From time to time you will see me post about my life as an educator, my experiences and opinions about the current state of education ,and my new podcast. This year I said that I will take everything that God said that I could have. If God called you to fill a certain area in the Body of Christ then you have to walk in it. I've revamped my name to add CEO. Yes, to see what is not yet visible with the human eye is an aspect of FAITH! We walk by FAITH and not by SIGHT. He wants you to have his best for you and he loves you just as much! Fear will have you holding back from your purpose. For none of us are perfect, but if we all reach out to others and share stories it will make all of our journeys much easier. You'd be surprised that most of the people that dislike you or don't understand you barely know themselves. I've connected with so many people this year that I would've never encountered unless we were in awkward situations that it's crazy. One thing that I know for sure is that all of us need God. Without him we are nothing. Most people are running through life trying to get a temporary fix on their hearts by temporary relationships. That was totally me at one point. You'll find yourself feeling as though you're going crazy trying to stay alive in a relationship that was never meant to be birthed in the first place. Beauty on the outside isn't what will get you far. It's beauty of the spirit. There is so much that God wants to do in many of our lives while we are still young and able to make moves that the elderly can't. Some people say "Oh I'll just play right now, I can get it right at 42." Wrong! When you're in the presence of God and aligned with his will he will place you right where you need to be. Yes, it's not an easy walk but it sure is worth it. You will have moments where you will want to say "God, why would you do this?".  The crazy thing about God is that we have to just fall into his arms and be filled with FAITH. There are so many of us that are called to do such great things. The only way to get there is to submit your plans to God and submit to his will. This is one of my very own steps to submitting to his will for my life. Thanks for all of the birthday love and most praises to the most high for the ability to be here another day to reach someone who hasn't heard of the good news just yet! JUST DO IT IN 2018!
